The solution is based on the idea of ​​Ivan Matúšik based on the project of reconstruction of the Obchodná street in 1970. Basically it is about demolishing buildings on the site and creating new structures that offer a different view of the street. This site has a strong potential because it is located in the city center with good transportation options, it is also a corner site with the possibility of adding an accent. The intention is to connect two main streets, frequently used by pedestrians, and at the same time create a public space between the buildings. The design process focused mainly on locating the buildings on the longer sides of the site, without creating the impression of closure from the Obchodná street. The shapes of the buildings are formed where the space between them is more attractive and guided people. The breaking of the building on the side of Mariánska street gave the impression of its extension. The function of the building is mainly the creation of an apartment building, which has lucrative location in the city center and includes other kind of functions for public purposes.
