Al Khuwair is a result from a preliminary work of analysis of the green and unbuilt areas of the site, existing building functions and infrastructures. The master plan tries to sensitively approach the existing part and emphasize the location of the souq in the main axis of the site. To create souq, we have not approached the centralization of activities, but its spreading into the space. The souq consists of an entrance gate and three other gathering spaces, all of them are interconnected and cooperate as a "living organism". We have filled the unbuilt areas of these gathering spaces with specific functions and one, the main (center of souq), transformed into the core of the site.
